Lesson Rates & Fees

The following lesson rates apply from 2026:

30-minute singing lesson - $45

60-minute singing lesson - $90

Lesson fees cover teaching time, vocal technique, repertoire development, musicianship, and musical guidance provided during the scheduled lesson.

Additional Music Preparation

(Outside Lessons)

Where possible, music editing such as transposing or adjusting backing tracks may be explored within a lesson, particularly when it is helpful for the student to be present so we can test what works best for their voice.

Additional music preparation outside of lesson time — including creating final backing tracks, editing performance tracks, or preparing multiple versions — requires dedicated time and is charged separately:

Up to 15 minutes - $15

Up to 30 minutes - $30

If a task is likely to take longer than 30 minutes, this will be discussed in advance.

Payment & Invoicing

To keep studio administration clear and manageable, NGM Studios operates on monthly invoicing in advance via the MyMusicStaff student portal.

• Invoices are issued at the start of each month

• Payments are made online through the portal

• Invoices must be settled promptly to retain the lesson booking

This system supports predictable billing and helps ensure lesson times are reserved fairly for all students.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they are unable to attend a lesson.

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited and fully payable, as the lesson time has been reserved exclusively and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice.

Cancellations must be made by email, text message, or via the MyMusicStaff student portal.

Punctuality

Lessons begin and end at their scheduled times. Lessons cannot usually be extended if a student arrives late, as other students may be booked immediately before or after.

If regular lateness occurs, I may, after discussion, choose to open that lesson time to other students.

Teacher Rescheduling

If I am unable to conduct a lesson due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited to a future lesson time that suits both parties.​

Lessons in Credit

As lessons are invoiced monthly in advance, lesson credits are generally not required.
Any exceptions or special arrangements will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Communications & Privacy

Your privacy is important. All contact information is kept within the studio and will not be sold or shared with any other organisation.
